Cheerios

I really enjoyed class today. The ads we watched and discussed were very interesting, especially the Cheerios ad. I liked that the ad was different than the cereal ads you normally see on TV. Cereal commercials normally either target children with sugary cereal and kid friendly advertisements, or adults with heart healthy and weight-loss cereals. However, this Cheerios ad had a more specific target - adults with children. The ad uses emotion to connect with the viewer and shows how Cheerios can bring people together, even complete strangers. I also liked the fact that at the end of the commercial it said that the story line was inspired by a true story. I think knowing this commercial was based on a true story makes it more believable, which is more affective in connecting with the consumer. I think Cheerios ad is very successful and was money well spent!

I also really enjoyed that day of class with the Cheerios commercial. That commercial was awesome!!! I think that everybody was happy with that ads. That advertising provided great impression to me and I could feel warmth. The contents of the commercial, adoption was great to persuade people without segmentation of their target. I did not know that was the base on the true story. That can be more affective thing to attract consumers with increasing their sales in the competitive market pace with memorable story.

It can be very affective! I think consumers are attracted to warm-hearted advertisements that are able to reach them in a different way. It's a great way to market a product!

What I liked about the Cheerios commercial is that I find it to be a timeless ad. This is something they could dig up and re-air after five years go by because of what it relates to and there is nothing really trendy in the ad. It is simple, heart felt, and has much meaning to it that reaches out to several differnt kinds of viewers.

i LOVED the cheerios commercial as well. I think it was a great heart felt commercial and it is very much a great way to market the brand!
